Polyelectrolyte — Full Product Details
POLYMERANIONIC • CATIONIC • NON-IONIC FLOCCULANT

Polyelectrolyte is a water-treatment polymer used as a flocculant or coagulation aid. Appropriate grades help fine suspended particles combine into larger flocs, supporting solid-liquid separation, clarification, sedimentation, filtration and sludge dewatering.

Available types

  • Anionic Polyelectrolyte
  • Cationic Polyelectrolyte
  • Non-Ionic Polyelectrolyte
  • Multiple molecular weights
  • Multiple charge densities
  • Powder / grade-dependent form

Water-treatment applications

  • Effluent Treatment Plants
  • Sewage Treatment Plants
  • Water clarification
  • Sludge conditioning
  • Filter presses
  • Belt and screw presses
  • Centrifuge dewatering
  • Industrial wastewater

Selection and dosing

Anionic grades are commonly evaluated for suspended mineral and inorganic solids; cationic grades are often evaluated for organic sludge conditioning and dewatering; non-ionic grades suit selected low-charge duties. Polymer type, molecular weight, charge density, make-down concentration, ageing, mixing energy and dose must be established from wastewater analysis, jar testing or qualified plant trials. A fixed universal dosage should not be used.

Packaging & supply

Types: anionic / cationic / non-ionic  •  Grade: Industrial / Water Treatment Grade  •  Packing: standard industrial packing  •  Supply: Chennai, Tamil Nadu & Pan India

WARNING — PREPARED POLYMER SOLUTIONS ARE EXTREMELY SLIPPERYAvoid inhaling polymer dust and prevent skin and eye contact. Use the manufacturer-recommended make-down, wetting, ageing and dosing procedure; poor preparation or excessive shear can reduce performance. Contain and clean spills promptly with an established procedure because hydrated polymer creates a severe slip hazard and can be difficult to remove. Store unopened product cool and dry, protected from moisture and contamination. Exact chemistry and hazards vary by grade, so confirm the current manufacturer TDS, SDS and batch COA before storage, preparation and use.
